The Nyimfa Division, Gomoa Akyempim Traditional Council in the Republic of Ghana and the Sovereign State of SHRIKAILASA, the Ancient Enlightened Hindu Civilizational Nation, and the First Nation of Hindus entered into bilateral relations – Emphasizing their similar values on cultural understanding, religious freedom and other rights, eradication of hunger, youth leadership, holistic health, and education initiatives, exchanges to educate citizens, environmental stewardship and sustainable living.
Gomoa Akyempim Traditional Area is one of the Borbor Kunkunfi Akan Fantis groups that migrated from Techiman to the Central Region of Ghana. The Nyimfa division with its headquarters at Gomoa Ohuan has 13 towns under its jurisdiction. Nana Ekua Edugyanmaa 1 is the Nyimfahenmaa (Queenmother) of Andamba Nyimfa Division and the Gomoa Akyempim Traditional Council. Politically, the Gomoa Akyempim Traditional Area is part of The Gomoa West District, which is one of 22 assemblies making up the Central Region. The district headquarters is at Apam and covers a total land area of 465 square kilometers. The main occupation of the people is farming and fishing since the region stretches from the hinterland to the coast. The main crops cultivated include cassava and corn.
