Hon. Bwatum William Loram โ LC5 District Chairperson (political head), Amudat District Local Government, Karamoja, Republic of Uganda โ has issued an official Proclamation recognizing and honoring the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism (“SPH”), Jagatguru Mahasannidhanam (“JGM”), His Divine Holiness (“HDH”) Bhagavan Sri Nithyananda Paramashivam, on the auspicious occasion of KAILASA’s Chaturmasya 2026.
Signed on 31 August 2026, the Proclamation acknowledges the SPH’s contributions toward the preservation of Hindu spiritual heritage, Indigenous cultural traditions, humanitarian service, interfaith harmony, and the promotion of global peace and unity among all peoples. It further proclaims that the State of Uganda celebrates the values of cultural preservation, religious freedom, ultimate compassion, non-violence, and cooperation among diverse communities worldwide.
Chaturmasya is an auspicious season in the Hindu calendar dedicated to austere spiritual practices, inner reflection, and spiritual transformation. The SPH’s 46th Chaturmasya culminates with the grand 10-day Navratri celebrations in October, attended by thousands worldwide.
This year’s observance began with the launch of Abhayam Sarvabhลซtebhyo (“Refuge for All Beings”) through the United Ancient Indigenous Enlightened Nations’ High Commissioner for Refugees (UAN-HCR) โ a humanitarian initiative providing refuge, protection, assistance, and pathways toward dignity and self-reliance for those displaced by war, persecution, natural disasters, and humanitarian crises.

The United States of KAILASA represents the revival of an ancient enlightened Hindu Indigenous civilizational tradition, restored through the unbroken Guru Parampara and spiritual lineage succession of the SPH. It was established to preserve, revive, and share the enlightened Indigenous civilizational knowledge of Hinduism โ providing spiritual solutions to humanity through conscious governance, education, and cultural diplomacy.
The SPH serves as the ecclesiastical head of the Sovereign Order of KAILASA’s Nithyananda (“SOKN”), an international Hindu spiritual and humanitarian order whose monastic members serve communities in more than 150 countries through spiritual guidance, humanitarian service, and compassionate action grounded in the principles of Advaita (Oneness) and Ahimsa (Non-violence). His appointment as the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism was affirmed through the sacred recognition and appointment of a congregation of more than one thousand eight (1008) Hindu pontiffs, representing the continuation of the ancient Hindu spiritual institution of the Supreme Pontiff of Hinduism.
KAILASA is a founding member of the United Ancient Indigenous Enlightened Nations (“UAN”), an international coalition bringing together more than one hundred sixty (160+) Indigenous nations, kingdoms, peoples, and communities across multiple regions of the world, established to foster Indigenous cooperation, cultural preservation, environmental stewardship, protection of ancestral knowledge systems, and collaboration toward global peace and mutual flourishing.
